1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of AxioExtract (the “Service”), operated by Axiometra Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”), registered in Scotland under company number SC892597, with its registered office at 3 Prospect Place, Westhill, Aberdeenshire, AB32 6SY.
By registering for an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the organisation you represent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. The Service
AxioExtract extracts structured data from engineering drawings, exploded parts lists, P&IDs and office documents. Output is generated using automated processes, including optical character recognition and AI interpretation. You must review all extracted data before using it in manufacturing, safety, procurement or other operational decisions.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use policy. You must not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, is subject to export-control restrictions, contains malware, or is otherwise unlawful.
You must only upload documents that you own, have licensed, or otherwise have lawful authority to process through the Service. You are responsible for obtaining any consents, licences or permissions required from third parties (including copyright holders, employers, clients or contractors) before uploading documents and extracting data from them.
You must not upload content that would infringe third-party copyright, trade marks, design rights, database rights or other intellectual property rights, or content that is confidential or proprietary to another person unless you have authority to disclose and process it.
5. Your representations, warranties and indemnity
By uploading a document or running an extraction, you represent and warrant that: (a) you have all necessary rights, licences, consents and permissions to upload that document and to extract, process, export, share and use the resulting data; (b) the upload and extraction will not breach any applicable law or infringe any third-party intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy or other rights; and (c) where the document contains personal data, you have a lawful basis for processing it and, where required, have provided any necessary notices and obtained any necessary consents.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Axiometra Ltd, AxioExtract and our officers, employees, agents and affiliates from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with any breach of the representations and warranties in this section, including any third-party claim that your uploaded documents or use of extracted data infringes copyright, trade mark, design right or any other intellectual property right.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights in the documents you upload and in the data extracted from them. We do not claim ownership of your content. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service during the term of these terms.
We do not independently verify that you have the right to upload, extract from or reuse any document. Our licence to provide the Service to you does not extend to any underlying third-party intellectual property rights that may subsist in your documents or in any extracted data.
7. Confidentiality and data protection
We handle uploaded documents and account data in accordance with our Privacy Notice and, where applicable, our Data Processing Addendum.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. While we aim for high accuracy, extracted data may contain errors and must be verified by you before use. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Axiometra Ltd and AxioExtract have no liability for any copyright, trade mark, design right or other intellectual property infringement, defamation, breach of confidence, misuse of confidential information, or any other unlawful act arising out of or in connection with documents you upload, data you extract, or the way you use extracted data. This exclusion applies regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such claims.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the total amount paid by you for credits in that period.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the Service, or if required to do so by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Credits and payment
The Service operates on a prepaid credit basis. Credits are consumed per page processed, with the rate depending on the document profile selected. Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT at the applicable rate will be added for UK customers.

11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by Scots law. The courts of the courts of Scotland have exclusive jurisdiction.
